Why You Need to INSIST on Plastic Recycling.
The manufacturer of these recycled plastic tables in Yellowstone Park designed a cheaper version of our recycled plastic picnic table. By cutting corners, Yellowstone is now faced with additional cost to try to "fix" the warped boards. Plastic Recycling of Iowa Falls, Inc. is able to utilize it's many years of manufacturing knowledge to ensure this type of problem does not occur with our products.Unlike Plastic Recycling, this manufacturer didn't extended the metal frame under the boards out to the end of the boards. The results: warping boards.
Even though this competitor's table looked decent when new, by cutting manufacturing corners their tables rapidly deteriorated in the park environment.

Build with Bags™ Iowa 
Build with Bags™ is a program by Iowa grocers to encourage the recycling of plastic bags. The cornerstone of this program is the grant program aimed at providing funding for schools and parks to purchase equipment made of recycled plastic such as the Plastic Recycling products shown on their Web site. Goals of the program are:
1. Doubling the amount of plastic bags recycled over the next 24 months 2. Reducing consumption of plastic bags; 3. Increasing use of reusable bags; and 4. Encouraging purchases of furniture and equipment made from recycled plastic through a grant program for parks and schools. |
